My wife was tired of all my complaints and told me to share them with the world. So if I am blogging about it, there is a good chance that I am not happy. Don't worry, things aren't all bad and I won't always be complaining. As she has told me before: life is not so terrible.

How good will the Avengers movie be?
OK. Some of you may or may not know that I like comics and movies which do not involve death races. So movies about comics should be a favorite of mine. I thought both Iron Man and Captain America were really well done. Robert Downey Jr did a great job of playing the character of Tony Stark. I have four kids so going to the movies is at best a quarterly occurrence for me. The Avengers movie is premiering this spring. Here is the trailer if you haven't seen it yet:
Couple of questions:
Should I plan on seeing this in the theater or wait until it comes out on DVD?
Is the Captain America vs Iron Man ego going to be a big part of the plot? Personally, I am not interested in that. I would rather see some more fighting.
Can we all agree that Hawkeye is the LAMEST superhero ever? The best archer in the world? Seriously? Why don't we have the best fencer in the world join him? We could call him the Dueler.
I will probably go see this with the older two. Plus, Scarlet Johannson in a leather outfit. Sold!
ReplyDeleteScarlet Johannson is in a leather outfit? I hadn't even noticed.
DeleteUmm...Adam, if you only make it to the theater once a quarter, don't you think you should hold out for Batman?
ReplyDeleteBatman would be considered my summer movie. Avengers will fulfill the spring quota.
DeleteAlso, movies about skilled swordsman are usually a home video sort of thing, not shown in theaters anymore.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't movies about skilled archers also be considered home video fare?
DeleteHawkeye = LAMEST SUPERHERO EVER
I don't think you got my joke.
DeleteIt appears that I did not.
DeleteE...I got your joke. It takes an Aviator...
